What would you give your mother as a birthday present if you are serving in the army one thousand kilometers away from her? Sergey and his friend Igor take a one-day leave from the army, lend a video camcorder for one day and come to Moscow. They intend to film a video excursion about the Russian capital – Moscow for Sergey's mother, who has never been there. At one of the most famous city sights, Sergey meets a young girl Katya. They fall in love at first sight, but by the end of the day they must say good-bye to each other, since Sergey and Igor must return to the army base.

Dusan Gligorov
b. 1980 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. At the age of 13 he moved to Moscow, Russia, finishing secondary school in 1996. Great interest in films and an obsession with filmmaking resulted in entering the famous Russian State Institute of Cinematography, Moscow, named after S.A. Gerasimov (VGIK), in the class of Mr. Karen G. Shakhnazarov. Recently working on final diploma film.
